Choose the right fabric for your windows
Solar screen fabric comes in different densities depending on your needs — more shade, more privacy, or maximum view-through. We'll help you pick what works best for each side of your home.
- 80% screen — best for north-facing or shaded windows. Maximum view-through.
- 90% screen — the most popular choice. Great balance of heat blocking and outward visibility.
- 95% screen — maximum heat rejection for west/south-facing windows in direct sun.
- Color choices — black, brown, beige, gray. We match to trim and frames.
- Frame finishes — Silver, Bronze, Champagne, Tan, and White aluminum frames to match any home.

Most homeowners see 15–30% lower cooling costs after installing solar screens on west and south-facing windows. Many recoup the cost within 2–4 summers.

Quality solar screens typically last 10–15 years before fabric replacement is needed. The frames last decades. We re-screen at a fraction of the cost of full replacement.
You can, but you don't have to. Many customers leave them year-round. They reduce winter heat loss too, and the slight tint isn't a problem for most. If you prefer, removing and storing them is simple.
Measuring takes 30–60 minutes. Once built, installation on a typical home takes 2–4 hours. We schedule both visits at your convenience.
